Palworld Sunreach: how to reach the sky islands
Sunreach has one entrance and it's not where you'd expect. Here's how to get in, and what the level 60+ region throws at you.
Sunreach is the sky-island region added in Palworld 1.0, and the single most common question about it is how to even get there — because you cannot fly up to it from the surface. The only entrance is a portal at the very top of the Feybreak Tower. You beat that tower's boss, Bjorn & Bastigor, climb to the summit, step through the altar, and you land on Sunreach. There is no other route in.
Arrive geared. Everything on Sunreach spawns at level 60 and up, with 68 to 70 the comfortable range. Getting there under-levelled turns every trash mob into a real fight. The islands are separated by void, so without a flying mount you cross them using the purple teleport orbs floating between them — worth knowing before you step off an edge expecting to glide.
Once you're in, the region gates its own boss behind a puzzle: a whirlwind shields the central tower while six defense modules are active. Each module is marked by a beam of light you can spot from a distance, so it's a route, not a search — disable all six and the whirlwind drops. Behind it waits Auri & Shaolong, the eighth and final faction tower boss, whose defeat starts the Panthalus questline toward the World Tree. If you're on the veteran route, the whole Sunreach sequence is laid out substep by substep.
